CSV to JSON
Convert CSV table data into JSON arrays and objects.
Export JSON arrays into CSV format for spreadsheets and BI tools.
Turns an array of objects into CSV using the keys as the header row, with configurable delimiter and header toggle.
The input must be a JSON array: an array of objects produces a header row from the union of their keys (in first-seen order), with empty cells where an object lacks a key; an array of arrays is written out as-is with no header row.
Fields that need it are quoted automatically: a value containing the delimiter, a quote or a newline is wrapped in `"` with inner quotes doubled — the rule Excel, Numbers and Google Sheets all read.
The delimiter can be `;` (the default in some European Excel locales) or a tab, and the header row can be turned off.
Paste a JSON array
The sample is an array of objects; objects with different keys are fine, the header is the union.
Pick the options for your target
Match the delimiter to the importing application, and decide whether you want a header row.
Copy the result
Paste it into a spreadsheet — values containing the delimiter already carry their quotes, so nothing shifts columns.
Because nothing is flattened here: turning `{"a":{"x":1}}` into a column means guessing a column name for you (`a.x`? `a_x`?), and a wrong guess is harder to notice than an obvious failure. Flatten the data yourself first, or use JSON → YAML, which keeps the hierarchy. Array values are joined with commas — and since that contains the delimiter, they arrive quoted.
By the order keys first appear across all objects. To pin it down, give every object the same keys in the order you want to see.
